That is what I am doing. Sure, I can cobble together some graphics on my own after alot of time but for any kind of serious project it is better to focus your time on what you are best at and get on board people that enjoy designing graphics and find it easy. And, if they are partners in the project you don't necessarily have to pay them until the project is generating income.
