Precharge Projectnet

What is precharge projectnet? Precharge Projectnet is an effort to maintain network neutrality and to ensure proper, free and fair growth of Internet for everyone. It is an effort to check rich telephone and cable companies who are trying to privatize and take control of our Internet. Internet today works as "neutral" to everyone and each website/application is made available to everyone without any discrimination of any kind whatsoever. But some people have other things in their mind. Rich telephone and cable companies are lobbying congress to destroy network neutrality which is the real key to Internet Freedom and ensures equal growth for everyone on Internet. Net Neutrality prevents ISPs from choosing websites which open most easily or more quickly for you and websites which does not open at all. But if this law is passed, these big corporations will have the authority to choose websites which loads easily, websites which takes time and websites which do not open at all for you. These decisions will be taken by corporations keeping their financial benefits in mind and will curb the Internet Freedom to the fullest. We believe that this decision should be entirely yours and you should be the only one to decide how you want to access any website or application.

We believe that Internet should be free, equal and open for everyone and we are on our mission against all odds to stop the privatization of Internet by big organizations. To gain attention to this subject precharge has started its own precharge projectnet seo contest which will drive attention to this issue that can change the face of Internet forever.

The threat is real

We understand that if this law is passed, the Internet will be changed forever. You will be bound to use applications and websites that your Internet service provider (ISP) prefers. This is what we should be really afraid of. In other words, you will only able to see and use what your ISP wants you to see and use. You will be provided with slower Internet speeds on websites that are not preferred by your ISP. You could be forced to pay extra fees to access certain websites. It simply does not seem to be democratic. You would not be able to make money online and small online business will eventually fail which will lead to the domination of Internet by large corporations and companies. That will just destroy the whole Internet. It will give birth to a new era of Internet discrimination in which you will be forced to see content and use services that your ISP owns or have business deals with. It will also increase the cost of almost everything on the Internet as websites will be forced to pay ISPs to make their content and services available to the users. Thus prices will rise and the only beneficiary will be Internet Service Providers with more money and income. The only one who will suffer is you with increased prices.

It will also discourage innovation and new technologies on the Internet. All new innovative ideas and technologies will be at the mercy of a few hundred company officials. It will curb the flow of new ideas and free content on the Internet. The threats are real and if we do not act now, we could loose our great, free, open and equal Internet forever. Act now, help to save the Internet.
